OREO has some serious flavor game. The new flavors are always exciting for my family because we’re sort of OREO freaks; especially my husband, whose late dog was named after his favorite cookie. When new flavors are released, it’s always fun to try them out with my kiddos and husband. But sometimes we wish we could have a hand in which flavors come out next. OREO heard us and is doing something they’ve never before done by allowing us to have a voice in which flavor they release next with the OREO Flavor Vote! The contenders, Caramel Apple, Cookies & Crème, and Jelly Donut, while all worthy, pale in comparison to the only true choice: Jelly Donut. Coming from a family of law enforcement, I have a deep appreciation for my jelly donut flavored friend. Using the Blippar app while shopping for our classic OREO favorite at my local Walmart, I was able to cast my vote for the only clear choice, Jelly Donut.
Here’s how you can use Blippar to cast your vote:
- Download the Blippar app.
- While at Walmart, open the Blippar app.
- Tap the screen to start Blipping!
- Hold the phone’s camera over the OREO packaging and wait for the circle to finish loading to 100%.
- Once it’s done loading, you’ll be able to cast your vote and even take a selfie with overlays to support your favorite potential flavor.
Walmart now exclusively offers OREO Cinnamon Bun and Red Velvet flavors. They get me over there. The OREO Flavor Vote is also a Walmart exclusive so be sure to visit them in store with your Blippar app in hand to get in on the voting action! There will also be in store events with representatives sharing Flavor Vote information held in select Walmart locations from May 16th through the 19th.
