This recipe for One Pan Chicken Alfredo is melty, cheesy, creamy, and is cooked (from start to finish) in just one pan. Which is basically the formula for a perfect dinner, am I right, pasta-loving-dish-washing-hating friends? This meal is on regular rotation in my home because my kids love it and it’s an effortless weeknight dinner for me to make.

My boys have karate three nights a week and I much prefer to have an easy, simple meal that doesn’t take up too much time or effort to put together. This meal offers exactly that and especially when you use my helpful shortcut and use Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips. Since these strips are already cooked, all you need to do is heat them up and get your creamy Alfredo sauce simmering away.

To start, you’ll warm up the chicken strips in a large skillet as per the instructions on the bag of your Tyson’s Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips.

One they’re completely cooked and cooled enough to handle, cut them into one inch pieces.

In the same skillet over medium high heat, add a little olive oil, the chicken, and some garlic. Allow it to simmer for a minute or two until you can smell the garlic in the air.

Next you’ll add some chicken broth, heavy cream, and chicken bouillon.

Add in some pasta and stir it all together. For this recipe, I’m using Barilla Pronto pasta, a one pot, no boil, no drain pasta that cooks in under 10 minutes.

Now add in some chicken bouillon and mix it all up and let everything come together to a slight boil.

Turn the heat down, cover the skillet, and let the pasta simmer until it’s cooked through (about 15-20 minutes).

Once the pasta is completely cooked, remove the skillet from the heat and add in parmesan cheese.

Add some parsley for color. No meal is complete without a little color to liven your plate.

Serve it immediately while it’s nice and hot for optimum pasta enjoyment! My favorite veggie to pair this dish with is steamed broccoli because I just love dunking it in some of the cheesy sauce that falls from my pasta. Mmmmm, so good!
