My planner is practically connected to my hip. I’m never without it, it’s where everything our family does is documented, and it’s a fun way for me to de-stress while being productive. I’m often asked what my favorite tools and accessories are, what I use most frequently, and what I recommend and I thought I’d bring you exactly that.
Let’s start with the planner itself: I use an Erin Condren Life Planner (use this link for $10 off your first Erin Condren order!) that I modified to fit inside a Kikki K lilac and gold binder (the lilac is no longer available, but here are several others; if you’re putting an Erin Condren planner inside it, buy the large size). It was much easier than it sounds and I simply uncoiled my Erin Condren planner when it arrived and trimmed the edges. Then I used a special hole punch to fit the pages into the Kikki K rings. I positively love this system and the ability to remove and add pages and elements to my heart’s content.
Paper Mate Flairs are my all-time favorite writing utensil. They are bright, bold, and don’t bleed through paper. I love adding color to my planner and this is one of my most favorite ways to add it.
Shaped paper clips like these are pretty much the only way to keep paper together in my opinion. I have crosses, butterflies, and funky circles.
I enjoy using journaling cards or scripture verses in my planner. These are on my wish list and I use these ones frequently.
I’m just not sure how I lived before washi tape. I’m especially partial to floral prints and this set is just lovely. I also use these sheets frequently.
Predesigned calendar stickers are also one of my favorite ways to mark appointments, holidays, and events.
And these journal spots are great for jotting down a quick memory or funny story from the day. My planner isn’t just an organizer, it’s also a media journal and I enjoy occasionally writing down memories.
