With all the traveling we’ve been doing, I seem to have given up this week. I’ve been extra hard on myself, but damn it, I’m a warrior and I will do this no matter how many times I fall. We have one more weekend of traveling to do and then I will be able to buckle down and get strict with myself. I’ve been afraid to step on the scale this week because I know I’ve gained and I’m having my lady friend. I can feel the extra weight and the bloat. Considering I’d made the milestone mark of 220’s, I just wasn’t ready to accept reality, but how else can I move forward if I don’t accept my failures and move the heck on.

  • 1/21 (starting weight): 237.2
  • 4/9 weight: 230.2
  • Total loss = 7.2 pounds

Yes, I gained. Yes, I had a small failure, but I’m not going to declare defeat. I’m human and it’s okay to make mistakes along the way. Here’s to mistakes and picking yourself up like a champ.
