April Goals

Over here in Casa de Sosa, we are welcoming April with a slew of events and busy weekends. While I’m a goal driven person, I’m not exactly sure how I’ll do this month, so I’m keeping it low key. First, let’s check out how I did in March with my goals.

BLOGGING GOALS FOR MARCH

  • Vlog twice: I didn’t do well with this at all.
  • Design my resume: This is complete!
  • Create high quality content: Complete
  • Make a blog binder: This is such an important thing for me to get a move in with, but I spaced it. Whoops!

PERSONAL GOALS FOR MARCH

  • Manage my time: I’m getting much better with this, but still need to set some office hours.
  • Have a Mama tribe date: I didn’t get to hang out with my girlfriends because we have all been so busy this month, but I’m coming for you in April, B! Ya hear me?!
  • Lose another 10 pounds with Medifast: I’m down a complete 10 pounds!
  • Continue seven minute workouts three times weekly: I didn’t stick to these like I should, but still do them and still include them in my plans.

FAMILY GOALS FOR MARCH

  • Celebrate Collin, Aiden, and Evelyn’s dedication: We had a great time with family and the ceremony was just lovely.
  • Take the girls on a date: We took the girls to a mall and they got to shop at Justice and get a Build A Bear. We enjoyed lunch together afterwards. Sometimes a simple date with Dada is just what a gal needs.

For me, setting goals each month keeps me moving forward, gives me something to work towards, and makes me more productive overall. While we have a busy month ahead of us, I want to make sure I’m still taking steps towards achieving things I want and need to accomplish in my life as a wife, mother, and blogger. Here are my April goals:

BLOGGING GOALS FOR APRIL

  • Stay on task: With us being out and about most of the month, I want to keep it simple and just stay on task. Get my posts up and nothing extra.

PERSONAL GOALS FOR APRIL

  • Get in my seven minute workouts whenever possible: I’m not going to commit myself to any number of times per week, but I do want to actively try to keep up with these.

FAMILY GOALS FOR APRIL

  • Have quality family time over spring break: The boys have already had their spring break, but the girls’ starts early in April and we want to make sure we do some quality activities with them. Movie night, game night, craft night. All on plan!
  • Visit Sea World: Sea World granted me four tickets to head out and share their park with you guys. I’m excited to go. Jacob and I will be bringing Aiden and Collin along for the fun adventure and are excited to share the experience with them.
  • Start planning Aiden’s birthday party: Aiden will be five in May and he’s requested a Ninja Turtle party, so I’ve got to get a move on. Pizza, anyone?
