Easter is here and with it comes baskets, eggs, bunnies, jelly beans, and those addicting chocolate eggs, which are my personal weakness. While I battle my will to stay away from said chocolate, each of my boys’ themed Marvel Easter basket will be taking on their own mission: bringing Easter joy to the Sosa house.
At Walmart, I was able to stock up Collin and Aiden’s Easter basket with all their Marvel favorites. Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, and even Captain America were all given space in these evil-fighting Easter baskets. After stocking up on all our Easter essentials (hello, Easter ham!) and loads of eggs for decorating, our yearly tradition, I brainstormed fun ways to incorporate Easter classics in a Marvel theme. There was such a huge selection of fun things to add to their baskets. And if you’re a theme junkie, like me, Walmart definitely has you covered. From FROZEN to Star Wars and even Disney Junior (which will be Evelyn’s basket theme!).
Our Easter baskets usually include a small amount of candy; so I used some fun colored candies, separated them into recognizable colors (red and yellow for Ironman; purple and green for hulk), and packaged them with some leftover art from the toys I purchased at Walmart. It was fast, easy, and a simple way to add an extra touch of heroism to their baskets. Simply put the candy in a plastic zip bag, staple the old packaging to it, and boo yah! A great themed addition to your themed Easter basket. This could work for any theme you decide to do!
