It seems that I’ve designated Fridays for planner talk. I can’t tell you how exciting it is that you all love planners and stationery as much as I do. I delight in all of the positive feedback I receive on these posts; so I’m just gonna keep ‘em coming!
You know by now that I’m all about goal-setting. I strongly believe it’s a major key to succeeding in what you want to accomplish in life, whether that be a fierce stay at home mom or a fabulous working lady. Setting personal, family, and business goals is essential for progress. After you set your goals, the next natural step it to write them down and keep them somewhere you can easily reference. For me, I like to reference my yearly goals at the beginning of each month to see what steps I can take in the coming weeks to work towards my goals. This is helpful in ensuring I stay on the path to success. And this is why I feel it’s important to keep these goals on a list in your planner.
If you use an Erin Condren Life Planner, your planner comes with notes pages in the back. In the planner community, these have been transformed into all kinds of helpful trackers, lists, and more. For me, a goals page is the first thing I add into my notes section (and so should you!). It’s as simple as adding some fun washi tape and writing down my goals based on which category they fall into: blogging, personal, financial, or family.
Since I uncoiled my ECLP (Erin Condren Life Planner), I was easily able to laminate and trim some pretty cardstock to create a divider for my goals section. I cannot recommend using a Filofax or Kikki K enough because of the additional customization you can get from your pages.
If you don’t have a binder to keep your planner in, create custom coil clips that you can attach your goals to. This vlogger shares a great tutorial on creating some coil clips for the ECLP. Where there’s a will, there’s a way and I highly recommend getting those goals into your planner.
