Let’s talk about my homegirl Carly. The Carly dress probably my most favorite LuLaRoe dress from the several styles that we offer. Carly is a shirt dress that’s loose fitting and just the coziest thing I’ve ever worn. I jokingly refer to Carly as my shark week dress because she just helps me to hide all the bloat and allows me to feel comfortable while also looking fresh and put together. The dress truly flatters every body type, which is part of why I absolutely adore it.
The Carly dress runs large and I often recommend sizing one to two sizes down. I am 5’9″ and I wear a size sixteen. Typically I wear a 2X, but in Carly I wear a L. I can go all the way down to a small comfortably, but because I’m tall I prefer the large. Carly can be worn a variety of ways, but my two favorites are as a simple dress and as a tunic by sizing down two to three sizes and tying a knot on the side.
While my favorite way to style Carly is casually, she can also be dressed up with a chunky necklace or even with a thin belt for a more fitted look. I styled Carly for a date night by wearing booties and a leather jacket (with LuLaRoe leggings underneath, of course!)
Since becoming a consultant, I’ve grown my Carly collection just about as big as my leggings collection because I love her that much. I recommend Carly to anyone and everyone; especially LuLaRoe newbies who aren’t sure where to start because a Carly is the best way to build a LuLaRoe wardrobe.
