Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday. As a natural born lover and nurturer, I love a good excuse to tell my family how much I love them and what they mean to me. Given that, I still have a hard time figuring out what to gift my husband on Valentine’s Day. When I saw Sarah’s idea over at Repeat Crafter Me, I knew I had to do this for my own peanut butter cup loving husband. This sweet jar gift is filled with 25 reasons I’m in love with him and what he makes me feel when I’m with him. The fact that each reason is written on a Reese’s is an added bonus I know he’ll love. This 25 Reasons I Love You Jar Gift is the perfect gift for any hard to buy for husband, or maybe even someone who needs a little extra lovin’s this year.
SUPPLIES
- a glass jar with lid
- miniature peanut butter cups
- dot stickers
- twine and paper (optional for decorative tag)
To start, I wrote down 25 different reasons I love my manski. I wanted to be really specific with these to show him just how special he is to me. Things like: your big bushy beard, tickle fights with the boys, and that stupid gas app are all personal to our relationship and I know they’ll make him smile.
Once I finished writing down 25 reasons, I secured each sticker to it’s own peanut butter cup and placed it inside the jar.
Twenty five peanut butter cups later, I added all the candy into the jar and sealed it.
It’s such a simple and affordable gift that is so personal. It’s practically guaranteed to make the recipient smile. I mean, who doesn’t love to hear the reasons they’re loved? For my husband especially, who thrives on words of praise, this 25 Reasons I Love You Jar Gift will be special.
