This Christmas, I want to spread holiday cheer and show appreciation for the often forgotten people on our lists. From the mail carrier to the neighbors, sometimes we forget to show these people just how meaningful they are to us and Christmas is the perfect time to express our appreciation. Small tokens of love can mean the world, so I created a simple way to spread some holiday cheer using some simple craft supplies and my favorite gum that transform into a DIY Ornament Gift suitable for all the people in your life.
SUPPLIES
- ribbon
- scissors
- chalkboard tags
- chalk or chalk marker
- tape

- Doublemint® Gum
To start, trim a few pieces of ribbon to roughly six inches in length.
Fold the ribbon into a classic ribbon twist and secure it to the back of a pack of gum with tape.
Address your chalkboard to the recipient (World’s Best Mail Carrier, World’s Best Teacher, etc.).
Secure it to the front of the gum with tape.

This entire craft was insanely affordable because I found all of the supplies at my local Dollar General. If you follow me on Instagram, you know our sleepy little desert town recently opened a Dollar General and I was more than a little excited about it. We previously had one small market for all our needs, so having a Dollar General with groceries, crafts, office supplies, seasonal decor, and even clothing was such a gift to us locals.
