Oh friends, we all have our own monthly battles with our periods. For me, it’s harsh mood swings, chocolate cravings, and cramps that make me keel over. As women, we know our bodies are powerful (we make babies!), but we would probably be lying if we didn’t admit to cursing womanhood once or twice during our monthly menses.
I’m not sure if it’s just in my head, but the older I get, the less forgiving my periods seem to be. It seems as if over the years, my mood swings have taken on a new life.
