This post is sponsored by Johnson’s, maker of baby products I’ve stolen from my daughter to use in my own beauty regimen. Thank you to Johnson’s for partnering with me. And thank you readers for supporting companies that support this blog and my family.

As the mom of a toddler, I don’t always have time to research or experiment with new beauty trends or solutions. When Evelyn was one, I used her baby powder to absorb some of the grease in my unwashed hair because we all know how showers are a luxury when you’re caring for a little one, right?! Imagine my excitement when not only did it work, but it worked better than any of the dry shampoo I’ve tried before. Since then, I realized my two year old had beauty secrets to share and that I’d be raiding her supplies. Today I’m sharing a few of the beauty secrets I stole from my two year old’s trusted Johnson’s products.

1. Using baby powder as dry shampoo

I used to be a wash everyday gal, but over the last few years, I’ve slowly been washing my hair less and less after noticing how dried out my hair was. The first few months were a greasy mess when I went more than one day without using the ‘poo, but my daughter’s Johnson’s Baby Powder saw me through until my hair became used to less washing. Now I can go two or even three days without a wash before my hair starts to get oily. If you’re wanting a great dry shampoo, try baby powder, friends. It’s a game changer.

2. Using baby oil as shaving cream

My dry skin has always been something I’m self-conscious about. When a friend told me to try using Johnson’s Baby Oil in the shower as shaving cream, I figured I had nothing to lose. My legs are silky, smooth, and super moisturized thanks to swapping it out. I will warn anyone who heads into the shower after you, though because the floor definitely gets slippery.

3. Using baby oil as makeup remover

Who. Knew? You guys, who even knew? I recently tried this when my beloved wet wipes ran out one night. I feel like I’ve been missing out on this money saving beauty solution for so many years! I have crusty dry skin on the outside creases of my nose and I think this is going to solve that issue for me as I continue to use it.

These beauty secrets were lovingly stolen from my two year old and adopted by me, her thirty year old mother, but I don’t think she minds. I mean, this is just the beginning of our beauty relationship, right? Traveling promises to be a cinch since I now share several of her Johnson’s products for my own beauty regimens.
