For me, small acts of kindness speak volumes. It makes me happy to share my appreciation for someone through a small gift and it’s a quality I want my children to have. A little kindness goes a long way. And I think teachers especially deserve to know how deeply appreciated they are. Last year, we started a tradition and brought the boys’ teachers a gift to help them throughout the school year and this year, we will be doing the same (hello school supplies cake!). While brainstorming and searching for inspiration, I came across several fun ideas for DIY teacher gifts that I’m sharing with you today.
DIY Chocolate Daisy Bouquet from Our Holly Days
Crayon Initial Art from Workman Family
Back to School Supplies Cake from What’s Scrapping
Sharpie Bouquet from The Realistic Mama
Back to School Emergency Kit from A Pumpkin and a Princess
Soda-lighted from The Diary of Dave’s Wife
With the school year fast approaching, welcoming a new teacher with a small token of appreciation can kick start a positive and open relationship with your child’s mentor.
