This post is sponsored by Pear Tree Greetings. I love that they love paper as much as I do.

My love for stationery knows no end and when it comes to mailing out party invites, my paper loving heart just cannot let an envelope leave my hands without bedazzling it. Evelyn’s birthday was in January and I added a simple embellishment to the envelopes inspired by the design on her invite from Pear Tree Greetings. Taking inspiration from the invitation itself gives your guests a feel for your party and their first impression as to what to expect while there.

Sweet little sister child’s birthday is right after the holiday craze, which I’m usually still recovering from. Thankfully, Pear Tree makes invitation choosing easy breezy with a variety of choices that you can swap out the colors on to match your party theme. For Evelyn’s girly tea party, I loved personalizing these Surprise invites in deep purple and pink and a photo of her famous crinkle nosed smile.

Pear Tree also offers a variety of colored envelopes for your to choose at a small additional cost. Or you can choose an ecru color (at no additional cost; included with the purchase of your invites). I knew I’d be adding some fun to the outside of my envelopes, so when I saw the purple, I needed them in my life. The circle punches are also a Pear Tree Greetings exclusive item from their party decorations line where you can also choose custom colors at no additional cost. With every party I host, I order these without fail because of their versatility. From hanging them above the dessert table to using them in centerpieces, the possibilities are endless.

To compliment the gold foil design in her party cut outs, I found some gold washi tape and added it in a simple stripe to each invitation. If I weren’t so short on time, I would have also printed the addresses in a gorgeous calligraphy, but I barely got these out in time as it was.

The finished product is a simple and elegant invitation that would brighten any mailbox it ends up in.
