When it comes to shoes, I typically stick to sandals. But in the desert, sandals are a guaranteed way to fill your feet with pebbles and dirt or a bite from an ant or two. I’ve been trying to find some more stylish and practical ways to embrace desert chic and where I live, so when I saw these booties, I knew they had to be mine, ha!
Boho chic is probably one of my favorite ways to dress, but I have a hard time putting pieces together. Thankfully, I’ve been using Dia & Co and my personal stylist sends over different ways to style pieces that they send each month. I can’t even take credit for this because I pieced it together from the idea my stylist gave me last month.

These booties are quickly becoming my favorite pair of shoes because they’re versatile and a compromise for my faithful sandal-loving personality. The peep in the heel is flirty, but my foot is also completely covered and enclosed, safe from ant attacks and annoying sand filling my shoes.
Posing for these photos is always awkward, but it’s been such a great exercise for helping me learn some extra self-confidence. Learning how to pose my body, what I actually look like to other people, and how hard I am on myself has been a great learning experience.
