Friends, one thing you know about me by now is that my planner and I are besties. Nothing comes between us and she is there to help me with everything. Long live the paper planner because without her, I’d be lost.

Sundays are my planner date days and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to whip out my pens, stickers, washi tape, and supplies. I arm myself with a snack and cup of iced coffee and sit at my desk to plan out my week and dump out everything in my brain. This week’s snack were the new crispy OREO Thins that have become fast favorites in my home.

One of the first things I do is to use the side margin to write down my top three priorities for the week. This week it’s gearing up for my oldest son’s birthday party, attending a class or two at So Fab U (a blogging company I work with), and setting up some Facebook shares about some stuff I’m really excited about. I also use the margin to note any bills that will need to be paid in the upcoming week along with any incoming money we have.

Next I’ll add in classes and events we have going on during the week. My boys have karate three days a week, I have a weekly Bible study to attend, and we have an awards ceremony this week as well. I’ll use the lower portions to schedule out my weekly blog posts and I’ll use the top portions of each day to remind myself of important things like a guest post or library book due.

As an avid list maker, I usually leave the daily squares blank so I can make daily lists of what I need to do or accomplish in my home or on this little blog of mine. I try to keep the middle box limited to blogging or computer work and the lower box for my house work or personal things like grocery shopping at my local Food 4 Less on Fridays.

OREO Thins are a fun, more adult treat that I enjoy during my planning sessions. They’re available at one of my favorite grocery stops and a perfect way to have a little me time while I gather my mind together for the upcoming week. New OREO Thins are thinner, crispier, delightful versions of a classic OREO and they’re available in Golden, Original, and Mint flavors.
