Fact: my family is a Netflix family. We love exploring each month and discovering new releases, Netflix Originals (hello there OITNB!), and enjoying our classic faves. This month, we have discovered SUPER 4, where the classic Playmobil toys come to life in a series where characters Alex the Knight, Ruby the Pirate, Agent Gene, and Twinkle Fairy explore islands, battle evil, and save the planet.
As a member of the Netflix Stream Team, I was asked to create a fun SUPER 4 viewing party with my kids. They sent over a box filled with goodies to ignite our creative sparks and battle evil in our own home.
Armed with shields and proper headgear, Collin and Aiden played out their own version of good versus evil in an epic living room battle. Sweet moves, boys.
Evelyn, my sticker obsessed girl, enjoyed playing with the cool stickers and coloring pages.
After raising their anticipation and getting all of their energy out, the kids were ready to settle down for a family movie night with some popcorn, cozy blankets, and SUPER 4. They each seemed to identify with different characters. Aiden loving Alex the Knight and Collin totally geeking out over Agent Gene. Evelyn did her best to imitate Ruby with a hearty yo ho ho, but it came out a little more like a jolly ho ho ho. If you’re looking for a family friendly show or something your children can enjoy on their own, SUPER 4 is a great option.
