From pirate treasure to precious rocks, I&#8217;ve seen some interesting keepsakes they&#8217;ve stowed away while exploring the nature in our backyard. Typically, I toss them onto my dryer which then drops the treasures into the floor while it&#8217;s vibrating and drying the clothes, ha! I thought I&#8217;d create a few Monogrammed Trinket Dishes for each of my kiddos to store their pocket friends until I can remember to return the items to them. And with their initials displayed on the dish, it&#8217;s a handy way for them to know which items are theirs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUPPLIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/monogrammed-trinket-dishes1.jpg\" alt=\"monogrammed trinket dishes1\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>small dessert plates<\/li>\n<li>oil based markers (specially made for glass)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To start, I simply doodled each child&#8217;s initial onto the glass.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/monogrammed-trinket-dishes2.jpg\" alt=\"monogrammed trinket dishes2\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>Next, I added a few embellishments to reflect their personalities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/monogrammed-trinket-dishes3.jpg\" alt=\"monogrammed trinket dishes3\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>For my little fruit loving girl, I added some strawberries and blossoms. For my oldest space loving boy, I added a moon and stars. And while I completed our trinket dishes on my own, I easily could have let them join in on the fun to create their own designs.
