It&#8217;s become the marker of the season and when you see those cute little marshmallow bunnies and chicks in stores, you know spring is here. I&#8217;ve got five Easter baskets to fill this year, which means I&#8217;ll be investing in several PEEPS items to fill the baskets of my kiddos in ages ranging from 12 to 3 years old. And leading up to Easter, we usually create a fun craft or do an activity together as a family and this year, I&#8217;ve decided to incorporate the little treats into a craft. My kiddos and I got our hands dirty and created a fun PEEPS Play Dough that is not only fun to play with, but also edible!<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUPPLIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PEEPS Marshmallow Bunnies<\/li>\n<li>oil (coconut works best, but any will do)<\/li>\n<li>cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>food coloring (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To start, we tossed five PEEPS Marshmallow Bunnies into a bowl.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough2.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough2\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>Then we added three tablespoons of cornstarch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough3.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough3\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>And one and a half tablespoons of oil.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough4.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough4\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>Next we microwaved it all for about 30 seconds. And then stirred it all together until combined.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough5.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough5\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>From here we added in food coloring for brighter dough. And if necessary, we added more cornstarch, and kneaded it all together until it was an even consistency.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough6.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough6\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ourhollydays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/peeps-play-dough7.png\" alt=\"peeps play dough7\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"><\/p>\n<p>PEEPS Play Dough is fun for kids of all ages (and even this grown up!), plus if you don&#8217;t mind a little sugar rush, it&#8217;s perfectly safe for your toddler to explore with and taste or eat.
