Friends, I’m about to share with you my secret to mega moist and stupid easy cupcakes. It’s a secret I’ve kept for far too long and with Valentine’s Day coming up, I know many fellow moms will be up late the night before the class party, elbow deep in eggs, flour, and frosting as she tries to pump out 24 perfect Valentine’s Day themed cupcakes for the class. How about we all agree this year that store bought Valentine cards are just as good and if you do have time to whip up a batch of perfectly decorated cupcakes, you use this easy recipe and keep decorating simple with a PEEPS heart or two? Yes? Yes!<\/p>\n

You’ll start with a box of yellow cake mix.<\/p>\n

And add a can of lemon lime pop. Soda. Soda pop. Whatever you call it, to me it will forever be pop.<\/p>\n

Mix it all together.<\/p>\n

And bake it in a 350F degree oven for about 20-25 minutes.<\/p>\n

Yes, fellow mamas, it’s that<\/em><\/strong> easy. A box of cake mix. A can of soda. And a big ol’ BOO YAH!<\/p>\n

Decorating these is just as easy. I used a can of store bought frosting and piped it on using a zip closure bag. Then I added some red sprinkles, and PEEPS\u00ae Strawberry Cr\u00e8me Flavored Marshmallow Hearts to top off the cupcakes.<\/span><\/p>\n
