It’s been about a month since I last shared with you friends that I was going to start taking steps towards a healthier me. Using alli® weight loss aid, along with a reduced-calorie, low fat diet, and exercise, I’ve jump started my weight loss with a total of eight pounds gone. As excited as I am about that, I also feel like I needed to make some improvements to give myself the best results I can. While I’m loving this official after photo, I know how hard lifestyle changes can be and am excited to readjust where I’ve seen my weaknesses. In the meantime I’m going to be fabulous in floral!

One area I have really lacked has been with regular exercise. This month, I’m focusing more attention on getting active for at least one hour daily. The best way I know how to ensure I do this is yes, by tracking it in my planner. Friends, you know me by now, right? And it’s practically a blood oath when I write something inside of my planner. Naturally this means I have had to start writing down when and how I plan to get in my daily activity.

Alternating between an hour of cardio and a thirty minute workout every other day seems to be what works best for me. On my 30 minute workout days, I follow a quick step by step routine that gets all of my muscles moving and burning. To help me remember each step, I created this planner insert that I can reference during my workout, but you should consult your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

    • 15 minutes on Elliptical (if you don’t have one, jump rope or jog in place)
    • 2 sets of 20 sit ups
    • 3 sets of 10 push ups
    • 50 right leg lifts
    • 50 left leg lifts
    • 2 sets of 25 squats
    • 50 jumping jacks
    • 5 minutes of stretching

By the end of this workout I’m drenched in sweat. That means it’s a great way to get moving. Or just that I’m so incredibly out of shape, it’s laughable. Or both.
By taking charge of my weight loss with a new fitness routine and continued use of alli® weight loss aid, I’ve given myself a jump start that’s kept me motivated to keep chugging along. I chose to use alli® weight loss aid because it’s the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss aid on the market. It works by blocking 25% of the fat I eat from being absorbed by my body and helps to boost my weight loss efforts*. I take one capsule before each meal, a maximum of three capsules daily, and a multivitamin before bed daily. I drink plenty of water throughout the day and reference my alli® Brand Start Up Guide whenever I have questions or need a refresher on how to achieve success with alli® weight loss aid.
